Review #95! From Black Lagers I now move to the opposite end with the seasonal White Ale. I can’t wait to do this own my own :D

Brewery Hometown: Boston, MA
Appearance: Bubbly white head that settles after a minute or two back into the body. The beer itself is slightly hazy, golden yellow (for an ‘unfiltered’ its not too bad!).
Aroma: Strong waves of orange and coriander. The end has a citrus bite, that may be the lemon according to their ingredients. Deep spice mix delicately plays with gentle hops. Not a lot rises out later when the head is gone though.
Taste: The orange force is strong with this one. Citrus and lemon square of with big douses of spice. Belgium here we come. The first wave of flavor is big and bold but for me it leaves an odd bitterness on the tongue when its gone (maybe this is from the spices?). Regardless, high levels of the all-important vitamin D: drinkability. Back to the spices, coriander is a big player (and very recognizable due to its prevalence), but this brew seems to have lots of other small complexities. I get some fruity spice and banana spice as well, but no posh or sporty spice (KILL ME NOW). Ultimately I am not as entertained by this as much as their Black Lager, but this may be down to personal preference…my heart is black.
Alcohol: 5.2%
Drink one or all?: 1. Jenny seems to like it more than I do.
Cost: Guessing $7/sixer
Overall: 15/20
