I had this one a long time ago before I started to go outside the realm of light beers. Thought it would be a good idea to grab one and see what i think about it a few years later. This was the beginning of an evening that ended in the hospital because my neighbor busted into my room wearing only his boxers and a very cut pinky finger that needed stitches…

Brewery Hometown: Manchester, United Kingdom

Appearance: It pours into a very tall glass like a bottle of Guinness, all foam that turns into the beer your about to consume. once it starts settling it’s appearance looks like cream soda with an inch of whipped cream head on top. looks delicious and candy like.

Aroma: Sweet like honey but generic, mild undertones of a malty alcohol scent. I think maybe i put my nose in there to much but after a while it smelled almost kinda of spearaminty.

Taste: THICK! The can says think and creamy and they are not lying. Sadly that malty alcohol scent delivers into the taste. The first few sips are basically pretty good but as the beer goes on im starting to feel like its tasting cheaper and cheaper, almost like a think and creamy icehouse… about half way through this 16 ounce portion i realized that it was an iron taste that was bothing me. Much like that Sleeman Cream Ale 64′.

Drink one or all?: 1 unless its your thing or your just in the mood

Cost: $8-9/4 pack

Overall: 11/20 I like the thickness in the light Ale and the flavor’s not terrible but that iron taste just got to me and detered me. I also like the 16oz. portion in the nirto-can dig. In the right setting and right mood this would be cool. I just remember it being better.
