So like i said i love the fall seasonal brews. this one caught by eye because it was somewhat dark looking and of course had the necessary pumpkin.
Brewery Hometown: New Holland brewery in Michigan
Appearance: Pale light beer colored with a slight orange tinge, more than usual
Aroma: smells like the typical spices expected from a beer like this. cinnamon and nutmeg. but its got a little bit of a sting to it. makes me expect something a little more bitter.
Taste: The smell was not messing with my head. definitely more bitter than i anticipated. the pumpkin flavoring is good but only lasts for a moment and then something not so attractive sets in. i would say its like a new wheat ale that’s trying way to hard to impress you but instead is leaving you with waaaaaayyyyy to much. as the beer goes its after taste lingers longer and longer…
Alcohol: 5.5 %
Drink one or all?:EH one is enough. I’ll be drinking all six in efforts to not waste my money.
Cost: $8.00/6 pack
Overall: 12/20 it gets points for being alcoholic. sadly not all autumn brews are delicious…
