If you’ve come to visit us at ISU you should know Brew-HA’s is one of our favorite places for a good meal and a beer. And what better place than a bar to try a new beer?
THEIR CLAIM:This rich, full-bodied stout has sweetness from caramel malt, bitterness from roasted barley and smoothness from flaked oats.

Hometown Brewery: Saint Louis
AROMA: Limited ability to smell out of the bottle, however it smelled what i could smell was a dull bitter chocolatey smell.
FLAVOR: Definitely a full bodied beer in the flavor and appearance that looked like a thick coffee. It was almost to much flavor in the fact that if you didn’t swallow it fast enough it would make your tongue tingle. Their claim to caramel malt was their but in my opinion was not a very good accompaniment, simply to subtle. It was smooth but like I said left your tongue tingling. and the bitter after taste I could go with out. After the full beer it basically tasted like someone decided to ferment a Hershey’s special dark bar and drop a little caramel syrup in there. I also found a packaging date on my bottle, July 2007… Apparently its not sold very often… and apparently other people know better than I
ALCOHOL: 5.7%
COST: purchases for $2 at a bar. most likely around $7 for a sixer
ONE OR SIX? one bitch, mother fuckin’ one!
OVERALL: 4.5/10 I gave it an extra .5 because the label said “bottled with love on….date…”
