Many people at my house have recommended this beer, but this is the first time I’ve bought an entire pack for myself. Although I was a little let down…it does come in the biggest fucking can I’ve ever seen. That gives it a few points.

Appearance: Its a dark beer, but it seemed a little watery out of the can. It pretty much looks like dark coca-cola thats been sitting out for a while.
Aroma: Roasted, almost on the sweet side (reminds me of Newcastle, a much better beer).
Taste: You cant help pouring this and not thinking about Guinness. However, one taste and you’ll be thinking “who put water in my fucking Guinness?!” Another awesome analogy: it’s like eating a turkey burger. I mean ok, its alright; it has a nice malty/roasted flavor, but its not capturing my attention.
Alcohol %: 3.8%…I would give this at least 2 more points out of 10 if it cranked it up a notch…
Cost: $8/ 4 pack
One or Four?: Buy something else.
Overall: 10 / 20…its a big fucking can eh?

KFAZ yelled this on Feb 16 08 at 1:29 amfuck that shit. If its not motor oil coming from a can its not a dark beer. No wonder it taste like water down crap from jim’s ass. But I gotta see this can though. and Guiness is a weak beer too in case u didn’t know. So thats why people think they can drink a lot of a dark beer.
Andy yelled this on Feb 16 08 at 10:12 amGuiness may be weak in comparison to MOTOR OIL but it is still very full flavored, you cant argue that. Beamish was like a limp handshake.
KFAZ yelled this on Feb 17 08 at 9:52 pmYou’re right, Guinness is good and does taste good. And I’ll pass on the limp handshake though.
Brian yelled this on Feb 18 08 at 12:45 pmi don’t know if i would knock beamish down that harsh. it would be considered on a day you want to comsume a little more of that type but just don’t want the thickness of guiness. its basically just like a guiness “light”. watered down fo sho. but i still enjoyed my four pack
Andy yelled this on Feb 19 08 at 1:26 pm$8/4 for water beers is not a economically smart purchase in my book. I rated it low because I would never want to drink it again.
