I know we’ve really only been touching on all the beer’s we’ve never had but I have a special place in my heart for goose 312. It was the beer that started me on nicer beer, and of course it’s a Chicago micro brewery (hence 312) only select people in the Midwest knew of which makes it all that much
THEIR CLAIM: Like the digits suggest, it’s a beer that’s densely populated with flavor and loaded with character. We don’t filter it, so none of its life and soul is stripped away.
Brewery Hometown: Chicago
APPEARANCE: a cloudy orangish yellow of pure gold. not a dark beer but its a wheat so its what you may come to expect.
AROMA: Orange citrus scent with bold “cascade” hops. Its very noticeable and very inviting.
TASTE: That orange scent isn’t simply a scent. its there on the first taste. With what I would consider a mild smoothness it goes down crisp and clean with that citrus flavor. The mildly bitter after taste is one that I will forever reference to goose island. Not a common practice of mine but an orange slice is always an appropriate addition to the joy.
ALCOHOL: 4.2%
ONE OR SIX? So your some kind of cheap ass now? get a fuckin 12 pack
COST: Sixer: around $6-7, Twelve: $12-14
OVERALL: 15/20 I know its high but you always have to defend your first…
